A free medical camp was conducted in Rosemala Area of Shendurney Wildlife Sanctuary on 6th September 2015 in collaboration with Poyyanil Hospital, Punalur. Rosemala is the biggest habitation having an extent of 2.21 square kilometres under the jurisdiction of Ettappadappu Section of Shendurney Wildlife division. Rosemala is a remote place where the people doesn’t have much access to basic facilities like Electricity, transportation etc.
On 06th September 2015, Shendurney Wildlife Division organised a free medical camp where a team of 3 doctors especially Physician, Ortho Specialist, and Dental Specialist have extended their service to the poor local community. A total of 154 patients participated and benefitted in this medial camp.
The function was inaugurated by the Assistant Wildlife Warden in the absence of Wildlife Warden and presided by the Panchayat member of the Rosemala Ward.
The PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) and preliminary blood tests were offered free of cost to the medical camp participants. Adequate medicines were also distributed to the patients free of cost.
