Amphibians

22 species of amphibians were identified from Shendurney Wildlife Sanctuary. Gegenophis ramaswami, Indirana beddomii, Indirana leithii, Rana semipalmatus, Rana temporalis, Philuatus leucorhinus, Micrixalus fuscus, Nyctibatrachus major and Rhacophorus malabaricus are the endemic species to Western Ghats.

  4. Bufo microtympanum – Threatened
  5. Bufo mparietalis – Microhylidae – Threatened

  7. Microhyla rubra – Ranidae family – Threatened
  8. Euphlyctis cyanophlyctus – Threatened
  9. Euphlyctis hexadactylus – Threatened
  10. Hoplobatrachus tigerinus – Vulnerable
  11. Indirana beddomii – Endangered
  12. Indirana leithii – Threatened
  13. Rana semipalmatus – Vulnerable
  14. Limnonectus keralensis – Threatened
  15. Limnonectus limnocharis – Vulnerable
  16. Micrixalus fuscus – Threatened
